I'll be running this workshop for Spotlight, Lancaster on Saturday 24th June:
Stories can help us to understand lives other than our own, but our narratives are often human-centred. In a time of ecological crises, complacency and denial, are there other tales to be told?
Drawing on fairy tales, myth, contemporary literature, science and sensory experience, we'll work through a series of exercises to explore if and how we can tell stories with other-than-human voices to offer different perspectives on the world we're living in.
The workshop is open to all experience levels and you can work in prose or poetry. All you need to bring is pen and paper and a willingness to jump in.
